Market Overview:
Since January 1, 2014, more than 600 kinds of Pakistani textiles will be duty-free access to 27 EU member states market, duty-free products will exceed 1 billion US dollars. The plan is expected to contribute significantly to Pakistan's exports to Europe, particularly textiles and clothing. 2013/2014 fiscal year, Pakistan textile and apparel exports amounted to 13.74 billion US dollars, an increase of 5.3%, of which exports to the EU textiles 5 billion US dollars, an increase of 18%.
